3.2.1 Installation from the package

Ubuntu 8.04, 8.10, 9.04, 9.10, and 10.04 users may install from the package. Add a distribution server of the package to the setup file before installing the package. Use the root authority for setting the distribution server and create a file with the following content, with the file name harklist in the directory under /etc/apt/sources.list.d.

deb http://winnie.kuis.kyoto-u.ac.jp/hark jaunty/

sudo echo deb http://winnie.kuis.kyoto-u.ac.jp/hark jaunty/ /etc/apt/sources.list.d/harklist

Next, install the package. The followings are a detail example when apt-get is used.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install flowdesignerhri harkfd harktool libharkio julius-4.1.5-hark

The user may use the package manager for the installation. The root authority is required for an execution of Synaptic package manager. Enter “flowdesignerhri” in the search window, select the flowdesignerhri package and install by right-clicking “Application". Install harkfd, harktool, libharkio and julius-4.1.5-hark in the same way.
